DHI HAIR TRANSPLANT
Direct hair implantation, also known as DHI, is the latest addition to the growing list of hair restoration treatments, it combines the benefits of FUE extraction process with the direct implantation using the help of CHOI Pens. Unlike traditional Sapphire FUE, this method does not involve the use of incisions. There are many advantages to DHI procedure, most notably the receiving area does not need to be shaved thus making it a very good option for women or men with longer hair, faster recovery and less bleeding during the implantation process. Having said all that, it is unfortunately a viable option only for certain patients with smaller balding areas or patients who desire to enhance their hair’s volume. During the free consultation our doctor can establish if you are a good candidate for DHI FUE or Sapphire FUE both techniques providing very good and natural results.
Surgeons in LaBella Clinic’a use no needle anesthesia which is a non-invasive anesthetic procedure that uses a high-pressure jet to deliver lidocaine to the subdermal region. It provides effective pain relief during hair transplant procedures since it is administered right before the final anesthesia injections, thus reducing the pain by at least 70%. Following local anesthesia, the hair follicles are extracted from the donor area using a micromotor and micro punches ranging in sizes from 0.6mm, 0.7mm and 0.8 mm.
After carefully extracting the hair follicles from the donor area, the technicians insert the hair graft into the CHOI implanter pen and the doctor implants it into the receiving area one-by-one. During the procedure, we carefully follow the directions and angle of the hair growth to ensure a natural regrowth.
Laser Light Therapy
Laser light therapy (LLLT) is a popular option for people who are receiving partial or full hair transplant. Commonly performed 1 day after the hair transplant procedure, laser light therapy will stimulate the natural healing process ensuring a faster recovery and a much better result overall.
